Meet Michelle
Michelle Mortensen is an 8-time Emmy Award winning journalist, consumer advocate and political powerhouse.
In 2018, Michelle gave up her national TV career to focus on building a better Nevada. As a mother, she knew she had to fight for their future and stop the socialist agenda many politicians were pushing in the Silver State.
Since 2018, Michelle has become one of the most powerful, conservative voices in Nevada. Feared by Republicans and Democrats alike, she calls out hypocrisy, exposes the fraud and corruption on both sides of the aisle and uncovers the media bias we see on air and online.
Michelle began her TV career as a news anchor and consumer reporter in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She then worked for TV stations in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas and Arkansas before coming to Nevada.
As a consumer reporter, Michelle exposed con artists and thieves, confronting them with hidden camera footage that unmasked their lies. She’s put fraudsters out of business, and helped send the worst of them to jail.
Michelle knew there was only so much change she could make from the small screen, so in 2018 she entered the world of politics. As you can imagine, the career politicians didn’t like her exposing them for the lying, cheating , inept leaders they are, but she did it anyway. She made a lot of waves on the campaign trail and it opened up even more doors for her in politics and media. Today she regularly exposes politicians for who they really are and exposes the bias in mainstream media.
Michelle also started the Consumer Advocacy Center in 2018 to continue solving problems for people when they’ve been scammed or ripped off.
